For those wearing dresses these should be full length (below the knee at a push) and formal, for those wearing suits it's time to bring out those fabulous bow ties. Kilts are enthusiastically encouraged - we are going to be having a ceilidh after all!
The wedding ceremony itself will be held in St Palladius Church which despite being beautiful is a historic building and as such isn't the warmest; for the reception we will be in the castle with the fires on. Please bear this in mind when picking your outfit.
Go for it! We're partying in a castle - dress for it. Have a ballgown you never get to wear? We'd love to see you in it! Traditional dress you rarely have occasion for? Go all out.
Please do not wear white as you will be asked to change.
